We are currently offering internships out of our New Zealand office only.  Internships are available for any of our divisions. Please complete the form below and indicate your training interests. You will be working out of the New Zealand office with our New Zealand team. It is also very likely that you may have an opportunity to work with the Association President and culinary tourism industry founder Erik Wolf himself for all or part of your internship.

While our office is located in New Zealand's beautiful countryside, there are many additional benefits to make it worthwhile, especially for outdoor lovers. Our physical office is located in Katikati, in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, at the foot of the Kaimai mountains. "Kaimai" is a Maori word that means "home of food", so the Bay of Plenty is aptly named. Our grounds are home to trees of avocado, olive, macadamia, and walnut; lush semi-tropical flowers of every kind; and all set aside an idyllic, babbling mountain brook, only 10 minutes by car from popular Waihi Beach, 30 minutes northeast of Tauranga, the fifth largest city in New Zealand, and only 90 minutes southeast of Auckland. Two excellent wineries are only a few minutes away. This part of New Zealand is an outdoor lover's dream: bush walks, kayaking, birdwatching and horseback riding are just a few of the many activities you will enjoy in the area.

While we cannot offer to pay for any relocation expenses or room & board, we can however offer a once in a lifetime internship experience that will prepare you for a life in the culinary tourism industry. There is a backpacker lodge a short distance away for short-term stays, or you can also rent a room in a home in the local area. You would need a car, not just to get to and from our office, but to explore the countryside as well. We can assist you in finding appropriate accommodation for the duration of your stay.
