Culinary Quality Assurance PDF Print E-mail

OVERVIEW
The Culinary Quality Assurance (CQA) is a proprietary algorithm developed by the Association that rates culinary experiences on a Pass/Fail quantitative basis, rather than the qualitative basis used by most industry standard dining reviews and guides. The end result is much more useful wealth of information and a truly equitable way to compare establishments and experiences. Analysis can be done for an individual business or a destination. An abbreviated version of our proprietary algorithm is featured on our FoodTrekker™ website and in our offline guides.

YOUR BENEFIT
Designed primarily for independent restaurants, the CQA gives independents a fighting chance once again against chains. Yet, consumers are often reticent to try local independent restaurants because of fear of "the unknown". The CQA levels the playing field so consumers and visitors alike can trust the CQA ratings no matter where they are on the globe.

YOUR RETURN
The return of a CQA rating is your ability to obtain informal quantitative research and consumer opinions about your business.  What do consumers think of your business? What do they think of your competitors? In what areas could you improve?

Thinking of doing it yourself? See why you need the ICTA.

Each Product Development Solution project is managed by a dedicated internal project manager using a state-of-the-art and easy-to-use team collaboration and project management system.  Association members please consult your Member Benefits page to see discounts you may be entitled to.

Product Development solutions are provided by the ICTA's sister organization, Epicopia Culinary Tourism Publishing & Consulting.
