OVERVIEW
Many event planners and even destination marketing organizations look to events as a panacea - build it and they will come. Unfortunately, it's not that easy. The world is saturated with Saturday farmers' markets, fall pumpkin festivals, ice cream socials and similar activities. Visitors demand unique and memorable events, just as they do with their dining experiences. You need a unique event or your event will have little chance to succeed in the highly competitive world. Work with Association staff to identify a realistic set of goals, prioritize resource commitments, and then actually develop the new event. We know what works and what won't.

YOUR BENEFITS
A unique and memorable event can serve as a unique selling proposition - something that is uniquely yours. Media love unique because it is newsworthy, and that is your goal.

YOUR RETURN
Gauge your success by measuring the number of media impressions citing your new event, number of interviews given by your local event vendors, number of new visitors coming to participate at the event, and so on. A response vehicle can be incorporated to track replies and conversions.

Each Product Development Solution project is managed by a dedicated internal project manager using a state-of-the-art and easy-to-use team collaboration and project management system. Association members please consult your Member Benefits page to see discounts you may be entitled to.

Product Development solutions are provided by the ICTA's sister organization, Epicopia Culinary Tourism Publishing & Consulting.
